Can I run this off an inverter?
Yes, with an appropriate sized inverter and sufficient batteries you will be able to run this off an inverter. We would recommend at least a 2000w inverter and a 200ah lithium battery.

This induction cooktop will come ready to use with a 240v AC plug.

Can you install this cooktop in a bench?
Unfortunately not, this unit just suits sitting on the bench when in use.

We bought the Westinghouse Induction cooktop for the caravan, but were often using it in the kitchen because it's nice to use. Wife says she's 'practicing' how it works, but I think she just likes it. Controls are super simple, easy to set either temp or time, and it does exactly what you tell it. This unit is great
