Breaksafe Remote Monitor - Model No RM6000
This Breaksafe Remote Battery Monitor is to be used with Breaksafe 6000, 6000XP, 5000, or 5000XP electric break away kits. This wired remote battery monitor checks the charge of your Breaksafe Battery each time you apply the brakes to your trailer or caravan. A red light will illuminate on the front panel that you attach to your tow vehicle dashboard, and a buzzer will sound for approx. 10sec to alert you when your battery charge is low. While a green light on the front panel indicates that the battery is still well charged.
Remember, remote battery monitors are not only safe, but are a legal requirement for trailers and caravans over 2 tonnes, when registered in NSW. This remote monitor is a wired monitor and needs to be wired into the existing Breaksafe break away system.

- Note 1: these are NOT wireless remote monitors, they need to be wired in
- Note 2: during its initial usage part of the protective coating melts of the internal resistor, giving off a slight smell. This is normal and should disappear.
