The Dometic PI8022 2 Burner Stove does come with an automatic flame monitoring device which automatically interrupts the gas supply after approx. 20 seconds if the flame goes out.

Does the lid have a cut off switch when you close it?
No there is no cut-off safety switch for when the lid closes, however the flame will go out quite quickly, please note gas will still leak if turned on at the bottle.

Does this meet Australian standards for gas installation Does it have a flame retarder?
Yes, the Dometic PI8022 is certified to meet Australian and New Zealand gas safety standards. It also features a flame-failure device that automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out.

What are the dimensions required to fit into an existing motorhome cooking recess.
Please see the attached Installation Guide, page 11 for a detailed diagram of the cutout dimensions for the recess. The overall dimensions required for fitment are 480 x 80 x 370mm
