Black Jack Shim Kit
To suit all Centurion, Stinger, Brutus and 50mm square receivers.
Why Shims?
Simple answer is that tow receivers are usually manufactured oversized. A standard 50mm receiver can measure as much as 52.8mm. That means there is movement between the 50mm hitch shank and the receiver. The tow bar manufacturers often include a grub screw to reduce the movement. (We think they should just make the receivers the proper size instead).
The shims are the best way to eliminate this movement. The kit comes with 3 different size stainless steel shims, and these should be used with as many as required for each situation.
The stainless-steel shims are:1 X Right Angle 1mm Shim with pin hole slot 1 X Flat 0.5mm Shim with pin hole slot 1 X Flat 0.5mm Shim Easily the best way to put an end to annoying rattle and clucking of your hitch.
