The Ecolet™ Separera Mini is a versatile and stylish dry toilet that offers a high-end look without the weight of a porcelain unit. For those interested in composting, we recommend emptying the chambers into an external composting system to create a nutrient-rich resource.
This fully self-contained model collects urine in an 8-litre urine bottle within the unit. With no external drainage, this is a great choice for mobile or off-grid setups. The collected urine can be emptied into another toilet or dump point, or diluted and used as a liquid fertiliser.

Firstly, check the ventilation fan is operating and there is noblockage in the drainage outlet.

How often do I empty the waste chamber
The waste chamber should be emptied when it is approximately75% full or when it reaches 200mm from the toilet opening. This should last two people for 60 days in warm climates

Can I use store bought toilet cleaners to keep the toilet clean?
Only use natural cleaners like the Ecoflo Nature Flush Enzyme. Using abrasive and chemical cleaners will damage the systems bacteria and composting will be affected
