Q & A
-
Can I replace just the handle without replacing the entire lock assembly?
Yes. If your door handle is cracked or worn but the lock barrel still works, you can replace just the handle. This saves money and avoids the hassle of fitting a full lock set.
-
What tools do I need to remove the original handle?
A small screwdriver is all you need to remove the screws and unclip the plastic tab. No special tools or skills are required.

Caravan Camec LH Door Lock Purchase
By: Gavin Honeybun on15 October 2026
The product arrived on time but had no installation instructions. It was easy enough to see how it fitted because it was replacing an existing lock. HOWEVER there were no instructions or tools to transfer the existing barrel to the new external handle.
