What is the best way to maintain the generator when in storage?
If you are storing for short periods, we would recommend turning it on every month and maintaining the servicing. If storing for a long duration, we recommend referring to page 23 of the operations manual which you can find at the bottom of the listing.

How much oil is needed for this generator?
This generator requires approximately 600ml.

What type of oil is required?
The recommended oil type for typical use is 10W30 automotive oil. However on page 10 of the operations manual, you will find a "Recommended Engine Oil Type" chart.

How often do I need to service this unit?
You will need to complete your first service after 1 month or 20 hours. Following this, every 3 months or 50 hours. On page 18 of the Operations Manual, you will see the Service and Maintenance chart. This will show you exactly what is required and when, to ensure reliable operation.

What fuel should I use with the MaxWatt Generator?
All of the MaxWatt generators are all suitable for a standard grade unleaded fuel, including regular, premium and ultra premium.
