BMPRO Range - Compatibility & FAQs

BMPRO provides a range of battery management and monitoring systems along with a variety of optional add-ons for these systems.

Please refer to the compatibility table below in order to ensure optimal compatibility of the BMPRO products you wish to purchase. A few prerequisites exist for some of the products to be compatible with a specific system - please see the notes below the table for further information on these prerequisites.

Prerequisites for certain combinations in the table above:

  1. J35A model must have Aux input to be able to use the MB1220 with it
  2. The MB1230 is only compatibile with the J35 series, if used in conjunction with the BC300
  3. The BC300 can only be used with J35 models that are REV10 (Software Version Update) and above
  4. The BMPRO BatteryPlus35-II-SI 35A may require a software update. The Trek will only be compatible with REV 09 or later. All of the BMPRO products we sell come complete with the latest software update.
  5. The BMPRO Dipper (Digital Water Level Indicator) requires connection to the TREK3 which is in turn connected to the BatteryPlus35
  6. Connect the Dipper/s to monitor tank levels (up to 4) to the Control Node. The Control Node comes standard with the purchase of the J35 Series
  7. The BMPRO SmartConnect Range Sensors include: SmartSense Gas Level Sensors; SmartTemp Temperature Sensors; SmartPressure Tyre Pressure Sensors and SmartConnect Sensors.
    These Sensors are compatible with the Odyssey App and require OdysseyLink103 to connect to your BatteryPlus35 system
  8. The BMPRO SmartConnect Range Sensors include: SmartSense Gas Level Sensors; SmartTemp Temperature Sensors; SmartPressure Tyre Pressure Sensors and SmartConnect Sensors.
    These Sensors are compatible with the JHub App and require ControlNode103 to connect to your BatteryPlus35 system

Do all the battery monitors require a BMPRO battery management system to operate?
Yes, all BMPRO battery monitors require a BMPRO battery management system
Where do we find or check for the "REV" of a product?
You can find the REV number of a BMPRO product on the back/bottom of all products except for the J35 series
Can I connect the new BMPRO Smart Connect Range directly to my smartphone?
No, it cannot be connected directly to a smartphone. For use of the Smart Connect Range, please ensure your RV is equipped with BMPRO ControlNode103 or OdysseyLink103, in order for the Smart Connect App to be available on your phone.


How does the Odyssey connect to the BatteryPlus35?
The Odyssey is a caravan management system with a touch screen monitor. App-driven battery monitor and control console operates with BMPRO’s BatteryPlus35 via the OdysseyLink.
How do the TREK3 / RVVIEW2 connect to the BatteryPlus35?
These can be connected directly to the OdysseyLink103 or the BatteryPlus35
Do I need a JHUB or ODYSSEY to use the SmartSense / SmartTemp / SmartPressure / SmartConnect Sensors?
No, if your J35 system has the ControlNode103 included you do not need a JHUB to connect these sensors to your J35 system.
If your BatteryPlus35 system has the OdysseyLink103 included you do not need an ODYSSEY to connect these sensors to your BatteryPlus35 system.
