Sim card options

• The VanConnect is endorsed by Telstra and is supplied with a Telstra Pre-Paid SIM card. The unit however is not locked to a specific provider and is optimised for all Australian networks, Telstra, Optus, Vodafone or other. The VanConnect works on Pre-Paid Plans, Contracts and even Data Share SIM cards. As a result, you can choose which Australian Telecom Provider you would like to use and if you want a pre-paid data plan or a monthly data plan. Telstra offers a solution where you can purchase an additional SIM card and have this SIM card linked to your existing account. called a Data Bundle Plan. When purchasing a Data Bundle SIM, you will be able to access your combined monthly data allowance from your phone, as well as the VanConnect, as they will all be linked to the same account. Installation:

• The VanConnect unit can be installed on the back wall of an overhead cupboard, or on a shelf near a 12V power point. Power to the unit is supplied via a 12 volt cigarette plug.
• The external antenna is mounted on the roof of the caravan and the five leads (3 metres long) are connected to the VanConnect.
