Introducing the new FreshJet RV air conditioner series. Featuring a streamlined design throughout the range, combined with superior cooling performance, optimised airflow, and the quietest operation yet. The Series 7 features the next generation of Dometic’s leading inverter technology, delivering the quietest and smoothest operation, perfect for off-grid applications.
Each model is designed to be compact and have a minimal footprint so you can utilise valuable rooftop real estate for solar panels and other needs. CleanAir ensures circulating air is fresh and clean thanks to the built-in air purification system. The new air distribution box (ADB) gives you complete control over the system, along with remote and full Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, cooling and heating is only a touch of a button away.
The Freshjet 7 Series Pro is now compatible and can be controlled using the Dometic Climate app and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

How long would I expect to run the Freshjet 7 Series Pro off my 200Ah lithium battery?
The Freshjet 7 Series Pro would run for approx 5 hours once the area has reached its desired temperature. This run time is for the air conditioner only. If you have other appliances drawing power this number will decrease.

Will this replace my existing Air Con?
The Dometic Freshjet range utilises either a 360x360mm or 400x400mm cut out size, which will cover most existing Air Conditioners.

Would I need to use an air purifier in the van when this is installed?
No, the Dometic Freshjet range is the first of its kind to offer a inbuilt air purifier. This is called the ClearAir system, which will keep the van smelling fresh and clean while greatly reducing allergens, viruses, bacteria and pollutants.

Does the Freshjet have a WIFI or Bluetooth feature?
The Freshjet range offers WIFI and Bluetooth, meaning you will be able to operate your AC from your phone.

I have very limited room on the roof of my van due to solar panels and hatches. What is the smallest roof top air con you have available?
Check out the new Fresh Jet 7 Series Lite. It packs a punch with 2.6kw cooling capacity for vans, buses and motorhomes up to 5m. It measures 752x 518 x 225.

I have a van with a thicker roof, will I need anything else for install?
The Freshjet range comes with ducting to suit up to 60mm roof thickness. If you roof exceeds this, you will require additional ducts which you can find in the accessories list.

I have a 2.4Kva generator and want to install a new Air Con. Will my generator that has continous output of 2100watts run the Freshjet 7 Series Pro?
The new range of Freshjet Series 7 Air Conditioners come backed with inverter technology, which means there isn't a huge in rush of current at start up. Meaning the entire range of Freshjet Series 7 will run off generators above 2 kva. Don't forget to be mindful if anything else is running off the generator at the same time

Does this AC come pre-gassed?
The Freshjet range will come pre-gassed ready for install. This latest range of Dometic AC's are using a more sustainable R32 refrigerant.

I decided to rip out the old split system in our campervan as it was noisy and not very effective. The fresh jet was easy to install in the old roof hatch opening and is SO quiet. The generator hardy increases in revs thanks to the new inverter compressor . Delivery was quick and free. Made the decision a no brainer. Thanks for your help

We put off replacing our old clunking Ibis 3 for 8 years because it did an ok job. We didn’t realise how bad a job it was doing until we got the new Freshjet. Installed in a couple of hours and I can’t believe how beautifully quiet and cool it is inside now. It’s so stylish inside and outside and makes our van look newer. The remote is great mounted right beside our chairs. When it’s 45c outside it’s wonderful to be comfortable inside again. Should have done it 8 years ago.
