In addition to the safari tents and cabins offered by the Iga Warta management, the site also welcomes independent caravanning tourists. The camping ground within the property accommodates caravans as well, and has facilities including an ablution block, a camp kitchen, a pool, and a shop that stocks everything from souvenirs to general supplies. Firewood is available for a small fee, though community campfire evenings promise much more fun.

Leigh Creek Caravan Park

Copley, SA

This popular caravan park is conveniently located at the foot of the Northern Flinders Ranges, thus serving as a great stopover for caravanning tourists heading to Iga Warta. In addition to a naturally beautiful setting, the Leigh Creek Caravan Park is equipped with a variety of attractive features. These include a 24-hr Laundromat, a TV room/lounge, and free barbecue facilities. Other than both powered and unpowered caravan sites, the park also offers tourists a variety of cabins to choose from. It also happens to be pet-friendly!

$16/night for 2 persons, unpowered sites; $5 per child (6-12 years)

$20/night for 2 persons, powered sites; $7 per extra adult, $4 per child (6-12 years)

 

Copley Cabins & Caravan Park

Copley, SA

Serving as a convenient overnight halt for tourists caravanning up to the many sites and attractions on the Northern Flinders Range (Iga Warta included), the Copley Cabins and Caravan Park offers a variety of accommodation options at reasonable prices. Besides standard rooms and cabins, tourists can find both powered and unpowered caravan sites, including drive-through sites. The gentle slopes and scenic beauty of the charming foothill town of Copley extend into this property as well, making it a great place for campfires and cookouts under the stars. The caravan park also offers 4WD tours and rentals.
