Camec 400kg Ball Weight Scale
Tow Ball Weight Scales are the easiest way to confirm you have not overloaded or incorrectly packed your caravan. Unevenly packing your caravan can have a large effect on the weight distribution of your van andgreatly effect its handling. A correctly loaded caravan should have about 10% of its weight distributed to the tow ball. Being able to easily measure ball weight and correct your load if required greatly reduces thechance of unwanted trailer sway.

I am new to vanning, with a lot to learn, but I knew that ball weight is important, so I bought a Camec ball weight scale. When it was first used the van was sitting level on a down slope and I had to put the scale on blocks, so having a height adjuster built in to it would be useful, but it did the job and reassured me that the ball weight was less than the tow vehicle's maximum and the van was not tail heavy, and I completed my first van voyage without incident, so the scale was well worth its price.
