Although the external antenna comes with the rv wifi, I decided to purchase the high gain antenna as well. The external (round antenna) is for hilly regions, and the high gain antenna is for vast flat areas. I wanted to make sure I had both options when travelling.

I found this product has made a vast difference to my reception and a definite improvement in low signal areas. Also very easy to install just remember to measure twice before drilling any holes.

Still testing this antenna, but so far definitely better than original RV Wifi antenna. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and should be standard fitment with RV Wifi !!!

I bought the high gain Ariel for my camper trailer to add to my RV wifi unit. It works well and is fixed to my boat rack on top of my camper trailer. Works well.
