How To Install Your WiFi:
Good news! Installing your WiFi device is easy—even for the less tech-savvy among us! The modem is installed inside the van. Simply plug it in using the 12V outlet (or an adapter if using a different power source). Then, you can mount an external high gain antenna to the roof for better reception. Alternatively, screw flexible antennas into the router. Connect the ethernet cable if required for a stable connection. Insert the SIM card from your chosen prepaid provider, set up your password, and connect your devices to the internet as normal.

5G rvwifi
Hi is the existing antenna wiring for the 4G rvwifi compatible with the 5G model, I know the antenna isn’t compatible, so would I be able to install the 5G model with the existing 4G wiring. Thanks.By: Ashley on 30 December 2024

Hi Ashley, the wiring can still be used if the existing antenna is the 4 in 1, if it is the older 3 in 1 then you will have to use the wiring with the new antenna. Just remember to tape up your wiring super well when connecting the old to the new to pull through the wall.
External attachment.
To attach the external part - i.e. the antenna, you would have to cut a hole in your roof. Unless this is done, dare I say professionally, you will have a leaky roof!By: smartywishbone on 11 December 2024

G'day, some people choose to feed the cable through the hole their TV antenna comes out of to save making a new hole. It is always imperative to seal any hole you cut in your caravan with a good quality sealant if you do decide to put a new one in.
